Bright citrus and nectarine skin add depth to the aromatics of this wine. Beautifully ripe with honey tones, it generously shows richness yet still remains bright and fresh with great acidity and texture. The mouthfeel is gorgeous as are the lingering ripe peach and tropical flavors.
Perfumed scents of jasmine and Lily of the Valley are balanced with spiced pear and tangerine zest. The extra barrel time offers creamy and supple notes that are kept in check with a lively acidity. The rounded palate is smooth, not heavy, and gives way to flavors of juicy, ripe pear, Crenshaw melon and kumquat.
Exotic floral aromas of jasmine combine with citrus blossom, lemon zest and caramelized peach. The palate is balanced offering flavors of passion fruit, apricot skin, honeydew and white nectarine. There is nice body to the wine – both silky and structured with acidity that carries through to the finish. This delightfully crisp approach to Viognier highlights its graceful style.
