Our 2019 Turbine Red is Anaba’s take on a Rhône style red blend. Wine tastes best when it’s accompanied by great conversation and even better company — fried food doesn’t hurt though. Our mushroom arancini dish complements our 2019 Turbine Red by bringing out aromas of dark plum and baking spice. From the first sip, the palate is caressed with a rich texture blackberry bramble, kalamata olive, and sandalwood. The sensational finish with lingering fruit and integrated tannins is both thrilling and inviting.
As seen in our Arancini dish, mushrooms pair well with our 2019 Turbine Red because of umami. Umami is one of the five basic tastes, along with salty, sweet, sour, and bitter — translating to yum.
