Mediterranean fragrances of Kalamata olive and marigold with hints of blueberry and spicy red pepper meet the nose. Driven by its vintage and AVA, our take on this bold Dry Creek varietal progresses from silk to suede to velvet on the palate, showing more milk chocolate than cacao richness. Pair this wine with spiced bean chili, camembert cheese, or a keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller.
Nestled in the heart of Dry Creek Valley, Ray Teldeschi’s meticulous farmed vineyard produces highly sought-after grapes. Second-generation farmers, Ray and his wife Lori farm sustainably. His reputation as a remarkable farmer is solidified through the high-quality fruit he produces.
The Teldeschi Vineyard follows the easterly slope to the bench land, one level above the valley floor. The volcanic soil contributes a signature spice to much of Ray’s fruit. Southern exposure guarantees plenty of sunlight and the valley’s warm days followed by cool nights result in perfect conditions for red varietals like the Petite Sirah.
