2021 Chardonnay, WestLands
Library Wine | 94+ Points - Wine Advocate
WestLands is our nod to the true Sonoma Coast. This vintage exudes bright citrus, Meyer lemon blossom, and sea spray aromas, while the palate is layered with lemon curd, racy acidity, and green apple. It finishes with subtle integrated oak and lingering acid.
About this wine
Winemaker Notes
Each vintage, select barrels are chosen for the WestLands Chardonnay – ones that express the essence of the true Sonoma Coast and its influences. This is always our most Burgundian style of Chardonnay. Try it with oysters and a mignonette sauce for a sublime pairing.
Vineyard Notes
WestLands is compromised of our favorite vineyard sites that are west of Sebastopol and are in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. This vintage focuses on the windblown, foggy sites and the acclaimed Goldridge fine sandy soil specific to the region.
