Our second vintage from this vineyard, our Flora Marie Grenache offers an enticing nose of fragrant ruby red grapefruit alongside nuanced whole cluster spice notes. On the palate, juicy red fruits burst with energy, framed by a lively structure, velvety texture, and well-integrated tannins, leading to a subtle hint of white pepper on the finish.
About this wine
We have sourced Grenache from the Flora Marie Vineyard for many years as a component of our Rosé, but in 2021 we used these grapes for a single vineyard wine and the result was delicious! This is our second vintage and its medium body and soft (though well integrated) tannins make it a refreshing and versatile red wine perfect for pairing with the lighter fare of spring and summer. Its subtle spice notes also complement grilled vegetables, salads, and lighter proteins enjoyed during warmer months, yet still holds up to a burger.
