2021 Green Valley Pinot Noir

This wine lives up to the expectations of Green Valley!  Lively, bright and loads of cherry. This is a great food wine with tremendous acidity.

Vineyard Notes:

We are so excited for the release of our new Green Valley Pinot Noir!  Green Valley is an AVA within the Russian River Valley AVA.  It is one of the coolest AVAs in Sonoma County, known for its fog that lingers (seemingly because of the lack of wind within this pocket AVA).  The vineyards we source for this wine have the well-known Goldridege fine sandy loam soil providing excellent drainage. 

Tasting Notes:

This wine is lively and bright with aromas of red fruits and a savory and spice underpinning, lemon thyme and carmelized oak. The firm mid-palate offers loads of Bing cherry, herbs de Provence, giving way to strawberry rhubarb in your mouth with firm, yet lingering finish.  Try this wine with roasted duck!
