2022 Carbonic Red Blend
The Carbonic style of winemaking is achieved by sealing the fermentation vessel to create an oxygen-free environment and make use of the abundance of carbon dioxide that is produced. This creates wines that are rich in fruit flavor, in this case – black currant, muddled cranberry, and grilled plum!
Winemaker’s Notes
We sourced the fruit for this new style of wine from two small vineyards with which we worked closely to plant their Grenache and Cinsault. Carr Family Vineyard and Figure 8 are both located in Sonoma Valley, just southwest of Sonoma proper. Both are small, organically farmed, family-owned vineyards that share our values and sustainability efforts, making them the perfect sources for our sustainable Turbine Line of wines.
