Pétillant Naturel No. 1 and No. 2 Pack

It’s a celebratory time of year at Anaba and we are drinking our newly released, first-time-ever offered, duo of Pétillant Naturel bottlings.  You may ask what Pétillant Naturel AKA Pet-Nat is…  It’s a type of winemaking where still fermenting wine is bottled to make them sparkle delicately with no additional sugar added.  This Method Ancestrale, as its name suggests, is a way of producing wines with verve and effervescence that dates back to the Roman Empire.  I want to offer these wines to you, your friends and family today at a special, once-only release price to get your sparkling wine needs met for your upcoming celebrations.

When our winemaker approached me expressing her desire to craft a Pet-Nat, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement. The process of creating this wine has been filled with anticipation, and now, as we unveil it to you, our valued customers, it marks a significant milestone. This marks the INAUGURAL release of this wine for you, and I am genuinely delighted for you to savor these exceptional wines during your moments spent with family and friends.

TASTING NOTES

No. 1 – This wine has aromas of unripe pineapple, coconut, green apple, and candied lemon.  On the palate, the wine has tiny bubbles with a creamy effervescence.

No. 2 – This wine is light pink in color and has aromas of canned fruit salad, pear blossom, and golden delicious apple with tiny bubbles and creamy effervescence.

*Please note that all Petillant Naturel wines are unfiltered.  This is because of the yeast still present in the bottle from the ancient winemaking style.
